Sylhet is that the land of garden in Bangladesh. it's located in north-east Bangladesh about 270KM faraway from Dhaka City. it's the entire area of quite 26.50 km2. Total Sylhet isn't for tea culture rather a selected place is there which is understood because the heart of tea plantation of Bangaldesh. Srimongal which is that the heart of garden in Bnagladesh is about 191km faraway from Dhaka. Srimongal has total area of 54 hectors and therefore the number of total tea estates is 163. There are about 3 lakhs (0.3 million) of individuals are working there surprisingly about 75% of the workers are female. Their main work is to gather leaves from the tea tree and carry those to the factories.
In Bangladesh there are various sorts of tea. At first, the tea which is from the fully fermented tea leaves. to form it more delicious milk and sugar is added.
Then comes the tea which is from the unfermented leaves. It?s too good to health because it has some vitamins and polyphenol which has some medicinal advantages.

The most widely used tea is instant tea. it had been first developed in 1930's. but it had been first commercially introduced by Nestle in 1946. to form it more delicious people add here milk and sugars and lots of other things like vanilla, color etc.
The most amazing tea is that the Tea with seven layers, which is found in Srimangal, Sylhet. it's seven layers which contains sevens tastes. No necessary all the taste comes from the garden . It all depends on the purchasers , which flavor he or she likes most.
Tea is one among the foremost major export items in Bnagladesh. Actually it's the second main export oriented crop of Bangladesh. If we glance to the past data the exported amount of tea in Bangladeh was about 14 million Kg and earned 934 million taka in 2004 but from 2005 it falls down for the very competitive world. But this country is taking new steps to save lots of this crop .
