Perhaps Toronto’s most famous landmark, the 553.33 meter high CN Tower is that the world's 6th tallest free-standing structure and was named one among the Seven Wonders of the fashionable World. This iconic tower was completed in 1976 and has welcomed many visitors since then (approximately 1.5 million annually). CN Tower is a fantastic feat of engineering, boasting 11 public elevators, 1,776 stairs, which took 1,500 workers, toiling 24 hours each day , 40 months to finish . Six high speed glass fronted elevators race visitors up to the highest of the tower in under a moment .

CN Tower boasts several attractions, with three main visitor areas. The Glass Floor, 256 square feet of solid glass, offers a 342 m view straight down and isn't for the faint-hearted! If you're taking the elevators to the most observation level, you'll transfer to SkyPod elevator and soar another 33 storeys for a fantastic 360 degree unobstructed view of Toronto and Lake Ontario . Considered Toronto’s most extreme attraction, EdgeWalk is that the first of its kind in North America, providing a full, hands-free walk on a 1.5 m wide ledge on the highest of the Tower’s pod – 116 storeys above the bottom. Participants enter groups of six and are attached to an overhead guardrail .
All that adrenaline makes visitors hungry and a visit to CN Tower isn't complete without a meal at 360, a revolving restaurant offering a powerful view of Toronto from 351 meters above.
